"Caldwell House"
Italianate Victorian
Dr. William B. Caldwell was an early resident of this home before it becomes the home of Lena Bragg, librarian at Allerton Library for over 40 years. This home features the Italianate Victorian style; two story hip roof, the eaves of which are flat and supported by decorative brackets. Notice the segmented arch windows and doors with wooden eyebrows, a steamboat Victorian porch, and widow's walk on the roof.
